A panel is a basic organisational unit within Felix which helps you manage your vendors, their onboarding experience and ongoing compliance.
It is easy to think of a panel as a folder for your vendors. For example, you may wish to organise your vendors into panels based on the types of services they provide, or the level of compliance required to pre-qualify for your organisation.
Tip: You can learn more about creating panels in our guide; How to configure a panel.
Felix gives you the ability to allow your vendors to choose which panels they would like to be registered against by using listed panels. When using listed panels, a vendor will be able to self-join or leave a panel at any time whilst the panel is open.
Using unlisted panels gives you the control over selecting a vendor's panel, preventing them from joining or leaving panels that you don't want them registered against.
Status | Description |
---|---|
Invited | If a vendor shows an Invited status for a panel, it indicates that they have been assigned this panel when receiving an invitation for your organisation, or the vendor has completed the first step of self-registration for this panel on your organisation's panel registration page. |
Prevented from Applying | This panel status is an unconditional decline of a vendor's application to this panel. The vendor will not be able to apply against this panel if this status has been selected. |
Declined | A Declined panel status indicates that the vendor's registration against this panel has been rejected by a staff user from your organisation. |
Approved | An Approved panel status indicates that the vendor's registration against this panel has been approved by a staff user from your organisation. |
Pending Approval | A vendor will show a Pending Approval status against a panel after they have submitted their application to your organisation. A user from your organisation will be required to review and approve their registration against this panel. |
Suspended | The Suspended panel status will show is a vendor was previously approved for this panel, but has since been suspended. This may be triggered automatically due to expired compliance documents, or manually by an organisation user. |
When configuring a panel, you are able to control which categories of services your vendors may select as part of their onboarding experience for the panel.
There are three ways to configure the categories selection for a panel: Open Mode, Exclude Mode, or Include Mode.
