Users will need the Manage Approval Workflows permission to perform the following actions.
How to create an approval group
To create an approval group:
- Navigate to Tools > Approval Workflows
 - Click New > Group using the top-right drop down
 - Enter a Title and Description for the group
 - If you're using Projects set the visibility of the group
 - Click Save
 
How to create an approval route
To create an approval route:
- Navigate to Tools > Approval Workflows
 - Click New > Route using the top-right drop down
 - Enter a Title and Description for the route
 - Pick the Approval Group the route belongs to
 - Select what type of approval the route should be used for
 - Add approvers to the route by clicking Add Approver
 - Click Save
 
How to replace an approver
To replace an existing approver in an approval route:
- Navigate to Tools > Approval Workflows
 - Click Routes
 - Hover over the more icon for the route
 - Click Edit
 - Click the swap icon next to the approver
 - Choose the new User and their Title
 - Select whether or not to replace in-flight workflows
 - Click Replace Approver
 - Click Save
