Project groups are a way to organise and manage access to RFQs that you create within Felix.

Tip:  You can learn more about project groups and how they are used by reading our guide, Understanding project groups, or learn how to create them in our guide How to create a project group.

Edit a project group

Felix allows you to change viewing or editing permissions for an existing project group at any time. This can only be done by the Project Group Creator or an Administrator user.

To edit a project group:

  1. Navigate to Projects & Quotes > Project Groups from your Felix dashboard
  2. Hover over the more icon beside the relevant project group
  3. Click the Edit button from the drop-down menu
  4. Update the viewing and editing permissions for the project group as required
  5. Click the Save button

Tip:  You can view when a project group was last edited on the Edit Project Group page. At the top of the page, beneath the project group title, there will be a section called Modified. This section will list the date and time the project group was last modified, as well as the name of who it was modified by.

Archive a project group

If a project group is no longer being used by your organisation, you are able to Archive it. Archival of a project group can be performed by the Project Group Creator or an Administrator user.

To Archive a project group:

  1. Navigate to Projects & Quotes > Project Groups from your Felix dashboard
  2. Locate the project group you wish to archive
  3. Hover over the more icon beside the relevant project group
  4. Click the Archive button from the drop-down menu
  5. Click the Yes button in the confirmation prompt

Restore an archived project group

To review and/or restore an archived project group:

  1. Navigate to Projects & Quotes > Project Groups from your Felix dashboard
  2. Click the Actions button in the top right corner
  3. Select Show Archive from the drop-down menu
  4. Hover over the more icon beside the relevant project group
  5. Click the Unarchive button from the drop-down menu
  6. Click Yes to confirm the restoration

Export a list of project groups

Note:  Exporting a project group is only allowed for administrator users within your organisation.

To export a list of project groups:

  1. Navigate to Projects & Quotes > Project Groups from your Felix dashboard
  2. Click the Actions button in the top right corner
  3. Select Export Project Groups from the drop-down menu
  4. Your .csv export file will automatically start downloading

The exported project group file will display the project group Title, Creation Date, Creator, Number of RFQs related to the project group, Viewing and Editing Permissions, as well as the project group's Status.

Tip:  A 0 (Zero) is used to indicate No. A 1 (One) is used to indicate Yes.
