The availability type of a document group or requested document determines if they are able to be selected by organisation users during RFQ creation.

Tip:  You can learn how to update availability types for document groups and requested documents in our guides; How to configure document groups and How to configure requested document types.

Availability types

Availability TypeDescription
UnselectedDocument groups and requested documents of the Unselected availability type have been created by other administrators or added by users of your organisation during RFQ creation, but are not available to be selected during the RFQ creation process.
DefaultDocument groups and requested documents of the Default availability type will appear by default during RFQ creation.

Setting up default document groups allows users within your organisation to easily identify which documents are required to be provided as part of the RFQ. Uploads for these documents are optional.

Setting up default requested document types allows users within your organisation to easily identify which documents should be requested from vendors as part of the RFQ.
SelectableDocument groups and requested documents of the Selectable availability type may be optionally selected during RFQ creation. Items of this availability type will not be displayed to users by default.
