How to reinstate a suspended vendor

Vendors with a status of suspended are excluded from participating in sourcing activities with your organisation. If a vendor becomes compliant again, or you wish to temporarily include them in sourcing activities, you have the ability to reinstate their account.

Tip:  Felix has the ability to automatically reinstate vendors that have been suspended due to expired compliance documents, once the document has been updated and/or archived. The Automatic Un-Suspend feature can be enabled by administrator users from your organisation. You can learn more in our guide, How to configure automatic vendor suspension.

Reinstate a suspended vendor

To reinstate a suspended vendor:

1. Click on Vendors in your navigation bar to access the vendor list
2. Locate the suspended vendor you wish to reinstate
3. Hover over the ‌ more icon beside the relevant vendor
4. Select Un-suspend from the drop-down menu

Warning:  If your organisation has enabled the Automatic Suspension feature and a vendor has been automatically suspended due to expired compliance documents, manually reinstating a vendor will only be temporary, unless the expired compliance document has been updated or archived. If the expired document remains in the vendor account, they will be automatically suspended again overnight.
