How to Link an RFQ to a Package

As your project or organisation transitions to using Procurement Schedules in Felix, you may end up in a situation where you have a number of RFQs saved and sent in your project, but not yet connected to a package in the Procurement Schedule.

Once you have created the Procurement Schedule for your project, Felix puts these existing RFQs into a group called "Unlinked RFQs".

RFQs that are not currently linked can be associated with a package within the procurement schedule.

To link an RFQ to a package:

  1. Navigate to your Projects.

  2. Locate the project where you created the RFQ using the quick search or filters.

  3. Click on the Project Title or hover over the ellipsis icon and select View from the options.

  4. On the left side, click Procurement Schedule.

  5. Locate the package which you'd like to link the RFQ to.

IMPORTANT: ensure you have selected a category of work (in the category column) for the package you are trying to link. Without this selection, the linking will not complete.

  6. In the RFQ column, click the small arrow that appears when clicked.

This column might also be called "Felix RFQ ID" or similar, as titles are customisable in your schedules.

  7. Select the RFQ ID you'd like to link from the dropdown, or enter the RFQ # to search and locate it from the list.

  8. Your RFQ will now be associated with the package you chose, and the RFQ will no longer be in the "Unlinked RFQs" section of the schedule.
