You can assign an evaluation to multiple vendors within a single RFQ Item.

To do this, use the Manage Evaluations button. This button will be available once the first quote has been received on an RFQ. You also require permission to Assign an Evaluation and to Manage the RFQ of interest.

If you require permission to Assign an Evaluation, reach out to your administrator for Felix. Permission to Manage an RFQ can be provided to you either via permissions from your administrator or through access to projects and folders.

To assign an evaluation within an RFQ:

  1. Navigate to Projects > Requests for Quotation from the main menu.
  2. Locate the RFQ you would like to assign an evaluation by using the quick search or filters.
  3. Click on the RFQ Job Name or hover over the ellipsis icon and select View Details from the options. The RFQ will open.
  4. Go to the Vendors tab.
  5. Click the Manage Evaluations button and select the Assign Evaluation option.

  6. Select the Vendors you would like to assign the evaluation to from the dropdown.
  7. Select the relevant Templates you would like to use for the evaluation from the dropdown. This will be prefilled if a template has been selected for evaluation during RFQ creation.
  8. Assign an Assignment Chair whom you would like to have visibility over the evaluation assignees' progress by selecting one from the dropdown. We default this to the RFQ Owner, however, you can change it.
  9. Assign the evaluation to one or multiple Evaluation Assignees by selecting from the dropdown.
  10. Click the Assign button.

Assigned evaluations will now be visible in the Tools > Evaluation Assignments list. You can shortcut to this list, filtered to the specific RFQ, by using the Manage Evaluations > View (#) Evaluations button. If you are an Assignment Chair or have been assigned evaluations yourself, you will also see these in My Tasks.

Only vendors who have submitted a quote can be evaluated.
