Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is available for Felix vendor users.
Please note that individual logins are required to enable MFA - if multiple users are accessing Felix through a shared account (e.g. email@yourcompany.com), you will need to add each individual user to your Felix account to allow for individual logins. Learn how to do this in our guide: How to add a new vendor user.
When logged into Felix, you can access the MFA setup page by going to My Profile > Security > Multi-factor Authentication > Manage Configuration.
There are two options to set up MFA for your account.
Click the Enable link next to the option you want to use for the MFA.
To use this option, you will need to download an Authenticator app on your device. Some popular Authenticator apps include Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, and Authy. Once you have downloaded the app, follow the steps below.
On the Setup Authenticator App page:
The recovery code will only be displayed if it is the initial MFA factor you have established.
The SMS-based MFA is not connected to the phone number the user has in the account. Updating your phone number in Felix will not change the phone number used for MFA.
SMS-based MFA is recommended ONLY for Vendors with Australian mobile numbers (+61 Country Code). If you are based outside of Australia, we recommend using an Authenticator App.
On the Setup SMS authentication page:
Once you have completed the MFA setup process, you will be prompted to enter a verification code every time you log in to your account. This adds an extra layer of security to your account and helps prevent unauthorised access. If you have any issues setting up MFA, reach out to the Support team for assistance.
